Seedling; found by Horace (“Papa”) Hale at Ashgarth, Haslemere, Surrey, England, in 1967; introduced by P. G. Davis (Haslemere) by 1969.
Ashgarth was the name of H. Hale’s house; and the colour of the flowers.
